Hi!

I've got naturally wavy hair that goes into the most fantastic curl when I blow dry it and use curling products. But whenever I curl it it really damages my hair, making it very dry and damaged, it feels awful for days afterwards. Even straightening with my GHDs doesn't make my hair feel that bad!

So I was considering perming my hair because i'd love to wear my hair curly all the time (but can't due to the amount of damage!)

I'd want medium to loose ringlet type curl on my just-below-the-shoulder hair. Could perming give me that look?

I do have my hair highlighted blonde, but not with bleach, and it's a bit dry but in good condition.

This is my natural curl, but it takes a lot of heat and product to get it like that:

it can be but your better getting a tempory perm first just to see how it looks that way your not stuck with it!! but if you get a real one be careful because it could damage your hair if you dont like it and try to wash your hair then blowdry or straigten it so get a tempory 1 first just to see!!!

your best going for an acid perm, they dont sound nice but it is the best perm u can get

perms have come a long way since the 80's but to be safe ask the stylist to do a stand test first to make sure your hair can take the perm without too much damage...

Looks fantastic, dunno about damage but I would check the length as I suspect at shoulder length you maybe a wee bit too short to pull it off
