My hair is short and i don't like it. I hate to spike it cause it ain't my style and when i comb it down, it don't look good. Im growing my hair and want a medium length. Im planning to get a cut to start all over.

there's no particular style that you really need to start from. just let it grow. keep getting regular trims to make sure it stays nice and healthy. just because it's getting longer doesn't necessarily mean it will get bigger. i have pretty thick hair but mine doesn't get huge or anything. but if yours does there's a lot of products you can use to tame it. mouse, wax, gel, anti-frizz products. you can do basically anything you want, there's always a product! best wishes
